The upcoming Optica Incubator Meeting on Quantum Network Systems Research will take place in Washington, D.C., from December 3 to 5, 2025. This highly focused incubator meeting, organized by Optica, is designed to bring together a select group of leading minds from academia, industry, and national laboratories. The primary goal is to engage in intensive, collaborative discussions to identify the most critical research challenges and future directions in the field of quantum networking.
As part of the Lightning Talks session on “Quantum Network Control & Layers,” Professor Cacciapuoti will share key insights into the architectural and control plane challenges that underpin scalable quantum networks. This will be instrumental in helping to define the roadmap for advancing next-generation quantum communication infrastructures for the future of secure communication and distributed quantum computing.
