Francesco Mazza received his M.Sc. degree (summa cum laude) in Computer Engineering in 2023 and his B.Sc. degree in Computer Engineering in 2021, both from the University of Naples Federico II, Italy. Since 2023, he is a member of the Quantum Internet Research Group, FLY: Future Communications Laboratory at the University of Naples Federico II. In 2024, he served as a research assistant at Argonne National Laboratory, USA. In 2025, he was a Visiting Researcher at the Institut f\”ur Theoretische Physik, Innsbruck, Austria. Currently, he is a Ph.D. student within the Quantum Technologies doctoral program, with a fellowship fully funded by the National Quantum Science and Technology Institute (NQSTI). His research focuses on the design of efficient and scalable techniques for multipartite entanglement manipulation and orchestration. He is also involved in the development of Q2NS, the open-source quantum network simulator of the Quantum Internet Research Group. His additional research interests include quantum communications and quantum information processing.
