Scientific Workshop and Official Inauguration of the Quantum Internet Testbed @ Federico II

The workshop aims to provide a platform for strategic dialogue, bringing together leading Italian industrial players active in the fields of quantum communications and quantum computing, along with startups and representatives from public institutions.
The goal is to foster a structured, system-level discussion on architectures, open challenges, and future perspectives for the realization of the Quantum Internet, with particular attention to industrial technology transfer, technological sovereignty, and the strategic autonomy of critical infrastructures.
During the workshop, the Quantum Internet Testbed of the University of Naples Federico II will be officially inaugurated. This advanced research infrastructure is the result of a long-term design and implementation effort carried out in “stealth mode” and is conceived as an open lab supporting experimentation and the development of enabling technologies for the integration of entanglement-based quantum networks, interconnected through quantum repeaters and coexisting with classical traffic.
